Travis W. Smith, a tour guide at Yosemite National National Park and co-owner of the private tour company Teton Tours, says he wants to highlight Yosemite’s wildlife, scenic beauty and the incredible diversity of its wildlife and flora.
He says he gets a lot of complaints from tourists who say they want to do a guided tour, but they’re too busy.
Smith says he’s been telling people he has private tours in Yosemite for years, but that people just don’t seem to understand.
“I just think it’s really important to have people who are there and are willing to talk to them about what they’re experiencing, what they want, what their fears are,” he said.
We’re going to bring in a few people that can talk about their experiences, so it’s going to be very interesting to see how the public responds.
Wyoming is the largest national park in the U.S. and has become known for its spectacular scenery.
A National Park Service report in 2012 concluded that Yosemite is “one of the most biologically diverse areas of the United States.”
It says Yosemite is home to more than 1,000 species of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects and birds of prey, and more than 500 species of plants.
Smith says the park’s wildlife includes some of the species that are rare or threatened in other national parks.
The report also says Yosemite’s flora and fauna are among the most diverse and diverse in the country, including over 300 species of insects.
Smith said he thinks people who want to go on a private visit can have a lot more fun and get more out of it.
People don’t understand how wild things are.
The animals are wild.
It’s a wild place, it’s an incredible place, and they don’t need to be regulated,” he told KPIX 5.
Smith plans to open up the park to tourists this summer, but he says it’ll take some time.
Tourism is booming in the park, with more than 5 million visitors in 2019, according to the National Park System.
