Patagonia’s second US outlet is expected to open on Wednesday in Manhattan, a day after a similar shop opened in Denver, Colo.
The two locations are the latest signs that the luxury goods company is trying to expand its reach into the United States.
Patagonia said in January that it had sold more than 4 million pairs of shoes, 5 million bags of socks and 4.6 million hoodies.
Tortola’s second store in Los Angeles opened in April, and the company said in October that it has sold more in its first three months than it did in the entire of 2017.
The company, which is also the parent company of Patagonian, owns the popular Patagonias, PatagoniAs, Patagoas and Patagona.
In the U.S., Patagonicare.com and Patagaare.ca have both expanded into new markets in recent months.
