Private tour operators have begun charging their guests a premium for luxury tours.
The government announced on Thursday that luxury private operators will start charging a premium of Rs 1,000 per person for luxury private and public tours.
A similar price will apply for luxury cruises and cruises with a daily fare of Rs 500 per person.
This is a big change as luxury cruisers are usually booked for a daily or weekly fee of around Rs 1 lakh.
The private operators are planning to begin charging the luxury tour operators for the luxury tours in the next two to three weeks, the Tourism Ministry said in a statement.
The government said that the luxury operators will be able to charge a daily fee of Rs 750 for a private tour and Rs 2,500 for a public tour.
This will include a one-time charge of Rs 250 for the overnight stay in a luxury cruise.
The private tour operator will have to pay a daily cost of Rs 300 for the same trip.
The ministry said that for luxury cruise companies, the overnight and daytime charges for the private tour will be Rs 1 and 1,500, respectively.
The ministry also said that luxury cruise operators will have two different rates for luxury luxury cruise trips.
A daily fee for the daily cruise and a daily charge for a luxury cruising trip.
This will mean that cruise operators can charge the same daily or daily rate as luxury cruise lines in the same class.
The tourism ministry also added that the government will be providing assistance to luxury cruise line companies to get the new charges in place and ensure that these luxury cruise cruise operators follow the government’s guidelines.
The relaxation of the norms for private tours comes as the government has been in the process of relaxing the rules for private cruises for a number of years.
This includes relaxing the norms of ticket price, booking of the luxury cruise, and charging the guests for the cruises.
